Certified Organic…check, raw…check, vegan…check, gluten free…check, handcrafted…check.  These “Snakaroons” made by Laughing Giraffe Organics has it all!  They are made from real unprocessed food so they are very nutritious and they are delicious.  If you’re a fan of coconut macaroons, you will love these Snakaroons. 

Laughing Giraffe has a solid product here.  The Snakaroons come in several varieties including Goji Cacao & Maca, Pineapple Macadamia with Coconut & Cacao, Banana Coconut and Vanilla Almond.  We picked up the Vanilla Almond Snakaroons from a local store to try.  They come in a resealable package in packs of 8.  The snakaroons come stuck together, but no worries because they pull apart easily. 

Nutrition Facts

The flavor and texture of the Snakaroons is great.  All of the ingredients are high quality natural ingredients.  These contain organic unsweetened coconut, organic almonds, organic extra virgin coconut oil, organic agave nectar, gluten free organic vanilla extract, and Himalayan pink salt.  As you can see they have gone the extra mile in using only the good stuff.  The sweet flavor does not taste artificial at all.  The texture is great too.  The chewiness of the coconut combined with the firm texture of the almonds makes for a very rich texture that is surprisingly moist. 

Judging by the ingredients listed above, you can really see that Laughing Giraffe Organics has put a lot of care into this product.  In addition to the high quality ingredients, these Snakaroons are also made in a soy, wheat, dairy, and peanut free facility.  The nutrition facts look good too.  These contain 190 calories and 15 grams of fat, which might seem a little high, but according to Laughing Giraffe Organics, “Real foods have real calories that are needed to stay healthy”.  The sodium level is extremely low at just 10 mg and protein is very high at 3 g per snakaroon.  These are definitely full of nutritional value.

Taste:  These Snakaroons pack great flavor.  If you’re a fan of coconut macaroons, you will love these.  The flavor is perfectly sweet and doesn’t taste artificial.  Combine that with the nutritional value and you have a hit on your hands. 

Labeling:  Just a heads up about these Snakaroons, if you’re familiar with them, you might want to keep your eyes peeled.  It looks like they just switched up their labeling. 

Packaging:  These Snakaroons come in a resealable bag, which is very convenient.  Just reseal the bag and they will be fresh for at least a few weeks.
